We at John Wade have been carrying out earthworks for over 30 years throughout the North East of England and work alongside our demolition division. During this time we have worked with the majority of builders, construction companies and local authorities in some shape or form. We are well known for our quality of work and dedication which is why many of our clients come back to us time and time again to get their earthworks done.

We may not be the largest in the business but our team is run by dedicated staff and we pride ourselves in ensuring our clients get value for money and job satisfaction each time with the minimum of stress and fuss.

• The facilities of our Quarry at Aycliffe where we quarry limestone to produce roadstone products. We also carry out extensive re-cycling activities and produce roadstone aggregates including type 1, 6f2/6f5 and associated products.
• Our own landfill facility licensed to receive construction waste including bonded asbestos material.
• The support of our skip hire business, who have numerous types of skips suitable for domestic, construction and commercial waste.

In this day and age where health and safety and zero defects are the norm, we are proud of our track record and take these issues very seriously.

We put a lot of effort into health and safety training and work very closely with our clients to ensure accidents are prevented.

As a CHAS registered company who is accredited to Constructionline, we work with many clients who are affiliated to the Major Contracators Group (MCG) of Companies and we are pleased to have attained prefered sub-contractor status with many of them.

Other clients include Local Authorites and contractors outside of the MCG all of whom have equally stringent procedures to be met.

Situated just off junction 59 of the A1(M) motorway we are ideally placed to serve the North East of England especially the regions of County Durham, Teesside and parts of North Yorkshire.

Our facilities at Aycliffe are open every day of the year (excluding bank holidays) and the roads in and out of the quarry are rarely closed meaning we are open to serve the sites all year round.
